The Monte Bella Story
Monte Bella began as a family move from Bombay to the peaceful hills of Mahabaleshwar in the 1980s, choosing a slower, more fulfilling way of life. Over the years, the home grew alongside three daughters, a small hotel, visiting cousins, forest walks, picnics, and many beloved rescue dogs.
Through changing times and life’s deeper moments, Monte Bella remained the family’s anchor. Today, this vintage holiday home in Mahabaleshwar is filled with old furniture, travel souvenirs, family photographs, and treasured recipes. It remains a warm, lived-in home where guests are welcomed not simply as visitors, but into a genuine family story that continues to unfold.
